2023: The 2nd edition of Tour de Pancreas

After the succesfull edition of 2022, the plan was to raise the number of participants and donations. The plan worked. A total of 120 participants joined the Tour. Everyone had their own motivation. There were several participants who wanted to climb the Mont Ventoux and support the fight against pancreatic cancer. In addition there were also many participants who, themselves or as friends or family had also to deal with the fight against pancreatic cancer.

The total proceeds from donations for the second edition of Tour de Pancreas in 2023 was 180.738 euro.

2022: The first edition of Tour de Pancreas

The impressive journey of 2021 was the reason why the Eck Roosen Foundation and Support Casper put their heads together. More people should be able to experience the climb of Mont Ventoux for Support Casper. The first edition was all about organizing a great event in which the personal touch would be central. A total of 36 participants climbed to the top during the first edition.

The total proceeds from donations for the first edition of Tour de Pancreas in 2022 was 45.100 euro.

2021: The origins of Tour de Pancreas

In September 2021, the Eck Roosen Foundation organized a trip to Mont Ventoux following the death of Eck Roosen. On September 16, 2021, the time had finally come. The cyclists and hikers went to the top together. The foundation is in close consultation with the Support Casper foundation, in which a small but incredibly passionate team is working to realize a dream: putting a stop to the devastating effect of pancreatic cancer.

The total proceeds from donations for this trip in 2021 were 30.000 euro.
